A great place to learn:

Dunoon is home to Dunoon Primary School and Dunoon Grammar School. Other popular primary schools include Sandbank, St Mun’s and Kirn primary schools.

For younger children, there are several nurseries in Dunoon, including Clyde Cottage and Patchwork Nursery. 

A great place to enjoy:

Dunoon has plenty of good pubs, restaurants and independent shops. In addition, its location on the Upper Firth of Clyde means its shorelines are a magnet for tourists and locals to enjoy a refreshing walk.

Favourite Pub / Restaurant: Osborne in Innellan and 51st State in Dunoon.
Favourite Walk: Innellan Pier to Volcano (Buachailean) or Pucks Glen near Benmore.
